Growing Kindness Workshop

The mission of the Growing Kindness Project is to support and encourage individuals and organizations to grown and share flowers in their communities.  This workshop is a special opportunity to dive right into growing and sharing flowers. If love flowers and have a heart for giving, but would like more help with the how-to’s of growing and designing cut flowers, this workshop is for you!  We’ll gather here on our flower farm for a two part gardening and floral design workshop. We’ll tour the flower farm, addressing common questions and challenges as well as tips and strategies for maximizing your cut flower garden.  After, we’ll move into the floral design portion of the workshop. Deanna will demonstrate helpful floral design techniques as she demonstrates how to create a floral centerpiece. Each attendee will chose from a bounty of blooms and foliage to create a lush, garden inspired centerpiece.  Finally, Deanna will lead attendees through creating a signature mason jar Growing Kindness bouquet, which attendees can then gift in their community. Light snacks and sips provided. The mission of the Growing Kindness Project is to support and encourage individuals and organizations to grown and share flowers in their communities.  You’ll leave informed and encouraged to grow your own cutting garden and hopefully inspired to share flowers in your community!

*Limited space available. All proceeds from this workshop go directly to supporting the Growing Kindness Project.
